Witch house is hot to trot, and the videos by Mater Suspiria Vision are genius freak-outs that incorporate clips from ’70s groovy occult sexploitation flicks. This one uses footage from Picnic at Hanging Rock, which is a lovely, spooky film that inspires me to dress like a Victorian maiden in distress. I’m also loving the video with clips from Poison Ivy (remember that? so hot!), which you can watch here. I would love to know what clips are from movies and what are the friends of this elusive Mater Suspiria Vision romping about being naughty.
You can basically spend hours watching these videos and enter another dimension. The music would be the perfect soundtrack for ladies of leisure who lie around on velvet cushions, drinking absinthe and smoking delicious rose-flavored tobacco through a hookah while wearing kimonos and rhinestone-encrusted turbans. In fact, I might do that for my next birthday party.
